Homeowners that own their primary residence in Cambria County are eligible to apply for the homestead exemption.  If the exemption is approved, the homeowner is eligible for a reduction in School District taxes.  In 2022, that reduction was $113.91.  The application for the homestead exemption must be received in the County Assessment Office by March 1.  Please see the link for the application and mailing address.  Applications may also be picked up in the Tax Collectors office.  Applications may be found at: https://www.cambriacountypa.gov/tax-assessment/#
