SOUTHMONT BOROUGH DECLARES STATE OF EMERGENCY

Southmont Borough has declared a State of Emergency effective immediately due to ongoing storm-related incidents and hazardous conditions.

 

Officials are asking the public to stay out of Southmont Borough if at all possible and not use the borough as a travel route. Emergency crews are actively working throughout the area, and keeping roadways clear will allow responders to safely reach those needing assistance. Residents are urged to stay home, stay safe and avoid unnecessary travel.
